The Congress of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) admitted the Russian team to international tournaments. It is reported by TASS.

Vice-President of the Russian Table Tennis Federation (FNTR) Roman Markov said that athletes will be able to compete only in a neutral status and only subject to special additional conditions. “Basically they include compliance with ethical behavior and anti-doping rules, there are no political requirements, but you need to agree with the peace mission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC),” he explained.

On August 15, the Russian rowing team was admitted to the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade. At the tournament, athletes will compete in neutral status in singles and compete for tickets to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

On March 28, the International Olympic Committee recommended that Belarusians and Russians who did not support the special operation in Ukraine be allowed to compete in a neutral status. At the same time, athletes from Russia and Belarus associated with the armed forces or security agencies of their countries are recommended to be suspended from participation in the starts.
