Carlos Alfaro Moreno, president of the Yellows, said during a press conference on Wednesday that it was “imminent” for the goalkeeper to be naturalized.

“It doesn’t mean it will happen tomorrow, but it will happen, we spoke to Javier and he is calm,” added the Canaries boss.
Alfaro Moreno also highlighted the performances the goalkeeper has had and believes his nationalization is “deserved”.
“He is a boy who, in addition to fulfilling the necessary conditions, has made the necessary merits, in sports matters, so that not only Barcelona fans think they deserve it, but also the whole country”, concluded the Canarian president. (D)
