Named a way to get rid of the syndrome of “computer neck”

Instructor Tarasov advised a warm-up from the “computer neck” syndrome

Ilya Tarasov, an instructor at the rehabilitation department of the Mariinsky Hospital, has named a way to get rid of the “computer neck” syndrome. The video appeared on the clinic’s page on VKontakte.

Tarasov said that the “computer neck” is typical for office workers, who often experience problems with the musculoskeletal system due to incorrect head position. To get rid of the problem, you need to sit down with your back straight and stretch your head to the left, right, forward and back.

Then you need to fold your hands into the castle and put them on the back of your head. In this case, you need to tilt your head down with your hands, putting pressure on the neck. This exercise should be done five to seven times. Lastly, you need to tilt your head back, rest your right hand on your chin while inhaling, and while exhaling, take your head forward.

On July 30, yoga instructor Puravi Josh outlined poses to relieve back pain. In addition to the triangle and downward facing dog, he recommended fetal, cat, and sphinx poses.
