Germany refused to let the Russians in the youth world championship in rowing

Germany did not issue visas to Russians participating in the Youth World Championships in rowing

The Russian team will not take part in the European Youth Championship, which will be held in Germany. This was reported on the website of the Russian Rowing Federation (FGSR).

The organization said that the host refused to let the Russians in without issuing them a visa. At the same time, the organizing committee accepted applications from representatives of the national team. “All declared participants will go to the open championship of Belarus among youth under 23,” the FGSR noted.

On August 23, it became known that the midfielder of the Greek PAOK and the Russian national football team Magomed Ozdoev could not get a British visa. On August 24, his team will play in Scotland with Hearts.

On August 15, it became known that the Russian rowing team was admitted to the 2023 World Championships. The tournament will be held in Belgrade from 3 to 10 September. Competitions are qualifying for the Olympics.
