Sport24.gr: Ozdoev cannot get UK visa to play for PAOK in LK
Midfielder of the Greek PAOK and the Russian national football team Magomed Ozdoev cannot get a British visa. This became known to Sport24.gr.
On August 24, the Greeks will play the first game of the playoffs of the Conference League qualification against Hearts in Edingburgh. All players, except for Ozdoev, received visas without any problems.
It is noted that PAOK is doing everything so that Ozdoev receives a visa and has time to fly to Scotland before the game. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece joined the solution of the issue.
Ozdoev joined PAOK on 7 August. Prior to that, he defended the colors of the Turkish Fatih Karagumruk.
On August 9, the Cameroonian midfielder of the Swiss club Servette, Gael Ondua, who has Russian citizenship, was refused to be allowed into the first match of the third round of the Champions League qualification against the Scottish Rangers. The reason was problems with obtaining a British visa.
