Doctor Snetkov advised to go to the pool to combat stoop
Traumatologist-orthopedist Alexander Snetkov named ways to combat stoop. His words are quoted by “Arguments and Facts”.
The doctor said that maintaining an even posture is an energy-intensive exercise that requires a strong muscular corset and discipline. He advised to engage in general physical training, which will strengthen the muscles of the back, in particular, go to the pool.
Snetkov added that slouching most often accompanies office workers who do not care about developing the muscles that support their back and neck. In his opinion, because of this, they are more likely to get tired, experience headaches, pain in the neck and in the thoracic spine.
On July 30, yoga instructor Puravi Josh outlined poses to relieve back pain. In addition to the triangle and the dog facing down, he recommended doing the pose of a child, a cat, and also a sphinx.
