Coach Krikunov said that hockey player Abols has a normal salary in Sweden
Former head coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Krikunov responded to the Latvian striker of the Swedish “Regla” Rodrigo Abolsu, who called the money of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) bloody. His words are quoted by TASS.
“He has a normal salary in Sweden. Plus, then such pressure on the father will immediately begin [помощника главного тренера сборной Латвии], so he says so, ”said the specialist. He added that “normal guys” live in Latvia.
On August 21, Abols said that he would not agree to play for KHL clubs even for ten million dollars. He stressed that he was not interested in communicating with people who move to Russia.
Abols played in the KHL for Dynamo Riga in the 2014/2015 season. As part of the team, he played 14 matches and scored five points.
