Inspired, because he finished eleventh in the regular season, Pumas qualified for the quarterfinals by way of the repechage and left out America, the first favorite. Now he will look for the two goals they need, with the Ecuadorian Washington Corozo and the Argentine Juan Ignacio Dinenno as offensive figures.

There is a lot of expectation around the match because Atlas, who has only won a league title 70 years ago, has played like clockwork, with a secure rear and practical football, while Pumas has come from less to more and should not be for dead.
