Serbian Crvena Zvezda beat CSKA Moscow in the final of the UTLC CUP-2023 tournament
Serbian “Crvena Zvezda” became the winner of the international football tournament UTLC CUP-2023. This was reported in a press release received by the editors of “Lenta.ru”.
In the final match, which took place on August 19 at the RZD Arena in Moscow, Serbian football players were stronger than CSKA Moscow – 3:0. Thus, Crvena Zvezda won the tournament for the second year in a row.
In the match for third place Lokomotiv Moscow beat Zenit from St. Petersburg in a penalty shootout. Crvena Zvezda player Jaich Vuk was named the best player of the tournament. Mikhail Grachev representing CSKA became the top scorer of UTLC CUP-2023 with eight goals scored.
UTLC CUP-2023 was held in Moscow from 15 to 19 August. Teams from five countries took part in the tournament: CSKA (Russia), Fatih Karagyumryuk (Turkey), Red Star (Serbia), Dynamo (Belarus), Lokomotiv (Russia), Fenerbahce ( Turkey), Zenit (Russia) and Astana (Kazakhstan).
