Psychologist Marempolskaya said that Dzyuba could not withstand the pressure of his media persona
Clinical psychologist Tatyana Marempolskaya explained why Lokomotiv Moscow striker Artem Dzyuba insulted a journalist after the fourth round match of the Russian Premier League against Samara’s Krylya Sovetov. Her words are quoted by Sport24.
Marempolskaya said that the psychotype moves the player towards communication. In her opinion, this is actively used by journalists who are trying to get sensationalism. “In this case, Artem could not restrain himself, could not withstand the pressure of his media persona,” she added.
Earlier, on August 16, the control and disciplinary committee of the Russian Football Union suspended Dziuba for two matches conditionally. In addition, he was ordered to pay a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
On August 12, Lokomotiv played a draw with Krylya Sovetov with a score of 1:1. Dziuba did not participate in the match due to injury. After the game, the correspondent asked the athlete to evaluate the forecast, according to which he will score no more than two goals before the end of the year. In response, the footballer insulted the journalist, promising to “put his phone in one place.”
