Neymar says he wants to ‘write a new story’ in Saudi Arabia
Brazilian striker Neymar commented on the transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Saudi Al-Hilal. The team takes his words to Twitter.
“I want to write a new story, and the Saudi Arabian championship has great energy, quality players and is currently in a stage of active growth,” said the striker. He expressed confidence that he made the right choice by making this transition.
Neymar’s transfer to Al Hilal was announced on August 15. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to RMC Sport, PSG sold the striker for 90 million euros, excluding bonuses.
Neymar has been playing for PSG since the summer of 2017. He moved to the club for a then-record €222 million. From 2013 to 2017, he defended the colors of Barcelona.
