Messi scores from outside the box as Inter Miami beats Philadelphia Union to reach Leagues Cup final

Inter Miami advanced to the final of the Leagues Cup. This Tuesday, the Miami team beat the Philadelphia Union, by 4 to 1, at Subaru Park Stadium, in Pennsylvania, in the United States. Josef Martínez, Lionel Messi, Jordi Alva and David Ruíz made it for the visitors, while Bedoya diminished for the home team.

The decision takes place this Saturday, with opponent and time to be defined. The rival leaves the game between Monterrey x Nashville.

Inter Miami didn’t take long and took the lead before three minutes into the game. Kryvstsov launched a good ball in the attack, Josef Martínez came out of the middle of the marking, dominated the ball, invaded the area and finished with a cross to make it 1-0 at Philadelphia Union. And, it didn’t take long for Lionel Messi to once again score his.

At 19 minutes, the captain and number 10 of Inter Miami took advantage of Martínez’s pass shortly after midfield, advanced and even from afar shot, the ball dropped close to the penalty mark and Blake was unable to save Messi’s goal. The Argentine has scored in all his appearances for the Miami team.

Before the first half ended, Jordi Alba doubled up. In addition, Robert Taylor recovered in the defense field, found the number 18, free on the left, and touched it. Jordi Alba, then, invaded the area and finished without difficulties.
