Still without the Brazilian star Neymar, due to details of being announced as a new player for the club, Al-Hilal played its first match for the 2023/24 Saudi Championship this Monday. Away from home against Abha, the team had three goals from former Corinthians Malcom to win 3-1.
Now, after their good start in the competition, Al-Hilal is preparing to face Al Feiha next Saturday, this time at home. The ball rolls at 3 pm (BrasÃlia time).
The game
Al-Hilal’s first goal came in the 30th minute of the first half. Malcom received a low pass after goalkeeper Devis Epassy’s clumsy exit and just played for the open goal. Three minutes later, however, the home team reached the tie with number 10 Saad Bguir.
The home team’s goal, however, did not make much difference, since, at 10 of the second half, Malcom dominated between the defense, cleared to the left and hit weakly, low. The goalkeeper was again very bad in the bid and swallowed a chicken.
Finally, to close his great performance, Malcom left his third and last in the 32nd minute. After an engaging move inside the opponent’s penalty area, the Brazilian received it wide on the left and hit it crossly, in the corner. This time without fault for the goalkeeper.
