FTC RFU will check the insult forward Artem Dzyuba journalist
The Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) of the Russian Football Union (RFU) is checking the incident involving journalist and Lokomotiv forward Artem Dziuba. Artur Grigoryants, chairman of the committee, told Sport-Express about this.
“If this incident is on the agenda of the FTC, we will report it tomorrow,” Grigoryants said. The committee meeting will be held this week.
On August 12, Lokomotiv played a draw with Krylya Sovetov with a score of 1:1. Dziuba did not play due to injury. After the match, the correspondent asked the athlete to evaluate the forecast, according to which he will score no more than two goals before the end of the year. In response, the footballer insulted the journalist, promising to “put his phone in one place.”
Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. In the 2022/2023 season, he made 12 appearances for the team in all competitions, scoring eight goals and making five assists.
