The game
The match was open throughout the first half, with both teams approaching in search of the first goal, but the scoreboard was not opened. Lyon’s main chance in the first half was with Lacazette, who received a good pass and hit the post.
In the second stage, with the entry and debut of Ângelo, formerly of Santos, Strasbourg opened the scoring with a free kick by JeanRicner Bellegarde. The opposing goalkeeper counted on the deflection, which did not happen and the ball ended up going in. And the hosts expanded with Lebo Mothiba, at 25 minutes. Lyon even reduced to 43 with Tagliafico after Caqueret’s cross.
Striker Ângelo’s debut took place in the 36th minute, when the former Santos was put into the match in place of Dilane Bakwa. The athlete did not have great effect plays due to the little time remaining in the game.
