Donostia-San Sebastian wins the Rianxeira Flag of the Euskotren League after beating Arraun Lagunak and Orio in Boiro

San Sebastian was awarded the Rianxeira Flag of the Euskotren League which was held on Sunday August 13 in Boiro (Galicia). Arraun Lagunak reinforced his leadership in front of the general classification after finishing second ahead of Orio (third).
In the first batch, Hibaika (street 1), Tiran (street 2), Cabo (street 3) and Hondarribia (street 4) rowed. Hibaika soon took the lead and was the best in the ciaboga, leading Hondarribia by a second. Also, in the second length, Hibaika extended his advantage and won the heat with a time of 10:51.64. He put 4 seconds to Hondarribia, 6 to Cabo and 36 to Tirán.
Then, in the second batch, the following drifters rowed: Tolosaldea (street 1), Donostiarra (street 2), Orio (street 3) and Arraun Lagunak (street 4). At first Orio took the reins and then Arraun Lagunak, but in the final stretch of the first pitch it was Donostiarra who was in first position. In addition, she was the best in the ciaboga, leading Arraun Lagunak by 1 second, Orio by 3 and Tolosaldea by 6. In the long return, Donostiarra extended his advantage and won the victory with a time of 10:24.08. From behind, Arraun Lagunak and Orio maintained a frantic fight and finally Arraun Lagunak was second 3 seconds behind the winners and Orio third to 7 seconds. Tolosaldea was fourth 12 seconds from Donostiarra.
Fifth place in the regatta went to Hibaika, sixth to Hondarribia (10:55.66), seventh to Cabo (10:58.36) and eighth to Tirán (11:28.24).
Therefore, the general classification of the Euskotren League continues to be led by Arraun Lagunak (80 points) and leads Orio by 6 (74 points) which is second In third place is Donostiarra (65 points) and Tolosaldea (60 points) is fourth. At the bottom of the table Hibaika (33 points) is sixth, Corporal (12 points) seventh and Tiran (14 points) eighth.
