French striker Ousmane Dembélé, who was in the Barcelonasigned a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain, until 2028, announced this Saturday (12) the Parisian club.
Dembélé, 26, arrived at Barça in 2017 and last year had renewed his contract until 2024. PSG paid the release clause of 50 million euros (R$ 267 million at the current exchange rate) to have the player, world champion with the France national team in 2018.
“I’m very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain and I can’t wait to play in my new colors”, said the player. “I hope to continue growing here and make all the club’s lovers proud.”
At Barcelona, despite injuries and a very long adaptation period, Dembélé scored 40 goals and provided 43 assists in 185 games. In six years in Catalonia, he won the Spanish Championship (2018, 2019 and 2023) and two King’s Cups (2018 and 2021).

With his signing, PSG strengthens its attack and continues to renew its squad, while Kylian Mbappé and Neymar continue with an indefinite future at the club.
Also world champion for France in 2018, Mbappé, who is at odds with the PSG board, welcomed Dembélé.
“Welcome to your home, my brother. I am very happy to see you here, the adventure is starting”, he wrote on his Instagram account.
