Barcelona loses at home to Betis and takes seventh at Espanyol

With the result, the Catalans are in seventh position, with 23 points. Betis is in third place, with 30.

In the next round, Barcelona visit Osasuna, on Sunday (12/12), at 12:15 pm (GMT). Real Betis, in turn, receives Real Sociedad, on the same day, at 2:30 pm (Brasilia time).

The game – The first half had a good chance for each side. At 10, Phelippe Coutinho dominated the ball in an excellent position inside the area, but hit weak, facilitating Rui Silva’s defense.

Real Betis arrived with Aitor Ruibal, who received them on the edge of the area and hit Ter Stegen’s goal in injury time.

In the second stage, at seven minutes, Juanmi, from Betis, pushed the ball into the net, after a cross. However, the goal that would open the score was disallowed for offside.

And at 34, the visitors opened the scoring. Juanmi received a pass from Cristian Tello and, free-marking, hit Ter Stegen’s exit to hit the net.
