Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami is in the Leagues Cup semifinals. This Friday night, the Miami team thrashed Charlotte FC, in the quarterfinals, by 4-0, at the DRV PNK Stadium, in Fort Lauderdale, in the United States, and advanced in the competition. The goals were scored by Josef Martínez, Robert Taylor, Adilson Malanda (against) and Messi.
In the semifinals, Inter Miami faces the Philadelphia Union, which beat Querétaro, by 2 to 1. The Miami team takes the field again on Wednesday, August 23rd, to play in the semifinal of the United States Cup, against FC Cincinnati, at 8 pm (Brasília time).

Venezuelan Josef Martínez was the one who put Inter Miami in advantage. In a penalty kick, Josef sent in the right corner of Kahlina, in the 11th minute.
Still in the first half, Robert Taylor expanded to 31. Yedlin saw his teammate arriving in the area and, with space, played in the middle for Taylor to finish and score the second, while the goalkeeper lost time and was unable to defend.
In the second half, Malanda, from Charlotte, scored against and made the third for the Miami team. At 41, Lionel Messi wrote his name on the game and scored the fourth goal of the game to close the scoring. The Argentine received from Campana and swelled the opponent’s net.
