Nice debuted in French Championship, this Tuesday, with a 1-1 draw against Lille in a match that took place at the Allianz Riviera Stadium, in Nice. Laborde scored for the hosts and Diakité, at the end of the match, left everything the same for the visitors.
The scoreboard of the confrontation was opened in the 18th minute of the initial stage. In a counterattack, Terem Moffi received and fired with the ball. The attacker played inside the area for Laborde, who finished low and scored 1-0.
The match between the teams was well balanced, with both teams having similar numbers in shots and finalizations on target. However, in a quick counterattack, Nice found a goal in the first half and tried to hold on to the result for the remainder of the match.
Lille grew in production in the second half of the match and pressed for the tie during the final 45 minutes. Thus, they managed to score already at the lights out, at 49 minutes. André Gomes provided the perfect assist for Diakité to equalize and leave everything equal.
Valiant throughout the match and logically in front thanks to a goal from Laborde, the Gym were joined in added time (1-1). Frustrating.#OGCNice #OGCNLOSC pic.twitter.com/CvW2CrtjxH
