Swiss and Monaco striker Breel Embolo underwent surgery this Friday in Lyon, France, for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, medical sources confirmed.
The intervention was carried out by Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet at the Jean Mermoz Private Hospital in the French city. The player will be away for an estimated time of about eight months.
