After a day in which Ecuadorian athletics stood out in the Junior Pan American Games, in Cali, this Saturday Andrés Torres once again put the national flag on top of the podium after hanging the medal of gold in modern pentathlon, the thirteenth gold medal in the tournament.
The Ecuadorian reached a accumulated of 1,497 pointsAfter completing the four tests that comprise the modality: equestrian, fencing, laser run and swimming.
To laser run test the Ecuadorian arrived as leader of the classification, which forced the tricolor to come out first in a day that was anticipated due to the weather conditions that occurred at the Cali Country Club.
