The Swede Jens Cajuste, who was at Reims, France, transferred to Napoli, announced this Thursday the current Italian champion.
Cajuste, 24 years old, is the fifth signing for the Neapolitans for the new season.
The midfielder, who had already passed through the Danish team Midtjylland, arrived at Reims in January 2022. His retrospect in the French team was five goals in 39 matches played in the French Championship.
Napoli did not provide further details on the cost of the operation or the duration of the player’s contract, who also plays for Sweden.
French coach Rudi Garcia, who recently took charge of Napoli following the departure of Luciano Spalletti, continues to reinforce his squad. Last Monday, the team from southern Italy had announced the signing of Brazilian defender Natan, from Red Bull Bragantino.
