Union Berlin wins RB Leipzig for German

This Friday, Union Berlin beat RB Leipzig by 2-1. german championship took place at the An der Alten Försterei Stadium in Berlin. In organized action, the home team scored their goals in rehearsed plays.

The home team opened the scoreboard in the opening minutes. Six minutes into the game, in a rehearsed move after a corner kick, the ball ended up crossed in the area for Baumgartl. The defender headed in and found Taiwo Awonyiy, who only needed to push to the back of the goal and open the scoring.

Seven minutes later, at 13 of the first half, RB Leipzig drew. Midfielder Christopher Nkunku submitted from outside the area and counted on goalkeeper Luthe’s failure to tie the game.

In the second half, Union Berlin returned to the front. At 11 minutes into the final stage, again in a play rehearsed in a corner, Baumgartl took advantage of the rebound from Max Kruse’s submission and finished with an open goal, scoring the second goal for the home team.

With the victory, Union Berlin jumps to fourth place in the German Championship, with 23 points, but still awaits results from other matches in the 14th round. RB Leipzig is in eighth place, and could be overtaken in this round.
