Zenit drew with Rostov in the RPL match

Zenit drew with Rostov in the match of the 17th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.

The meeting took place in St. Petersburg. The guests opened the score: in the 11th minute of the match, midfielder Dmitry Poloz converted a penalty. In the 25th minute, “Rostov” managed to double the advantage: forward Nikolay Komlichenko struck an accurate blow.

Zenit managed to close the gap even before the break. The Brazilian midfielder of the blue-white-blue scored in the 31st minute of the confrontation. In the second half, the Brazilian equalized with a double. The final score of the match – 2: 2

At the 20th minute of the match, Rostov fans left the guest platform as a sign of solidarity with CSKA fans, who were massively detained after the game against Zenit. The hosts’ fans also left the stands in protest in the 60th minute of the match against R “skeleton”.

After 17 rounds Zenit continues to lead the Russian championship. The team of Sergei Semak has 37 points. “Rostov” is ranked 11th in the standings.
