In a game of eight goals, Lazio and Udinese draw electrifyingly for the Italian Championship

This Thursday, Lazio and Udinese had an electrifying match for the 15th round of the Italian Championship, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, with a draw by 4-4. In a game of eight goals, the hosts came to a 3-1, but, in the last move, suffered the equalizer. The duel also had three red cards.

Even away from home, Udinese started better and created good opportunities. So, at 16 minutes of play, Jajalo crossed the ball to the Portuguese Beto, who headed in the corner of Pep Reina’s goal and opened the scoring for the visitors.

After the conceded goal, Lazio opened up, looking for a draw and got opportunities with Luis Alberto and Pedro, but didn’t get the goal. More present in the attack, the home team was vulnerable in defense and, in an offensive play 32 minutes into the first half, Patric lost possession in the middle to Success, who put the ball in for Beto to speed out, dribble Pep Reina and make his own second goal in the game, expanding to Udine’s team.

Soon after, under boos, Lazio restarted the game and went to the attack on the right, with Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian crossed in the area and Ciro Immobile took advantage of the defense to push for the goal and decrease for the team at home moments after the opponent’s second goal.

When it looked like Lazio could draw even in the first half, Udinese fitted another counterattack in the 43rd minute. Success started at speed and found Deulofeu on the right, who played for Molina, coming from behind, to finish for the goal and expand.

The second half started with Lazio going on the attack to react. Five minutes into the complementary stage, Hysaj made a beautiful move and passed to Immobile, who lost the ball, but had Pedro, who took the spare and scored the goal. Five minutes later, Milinkovic-Savic hit from outside the area and tied the game with a beautiful goal.

The match continued and both teams had players expelled. Patric, from Lazio, and Molina, from Udinese, received the reds.

To make the game even more electrifying, Lazio turned the game around in the 34th minute of the second half. In a free kick, Zaccagni crossed to Acerbi, who headed into the goal. The flag annulled the goal, but the VAR took action and validated the home team’s turn.

The game was played until the end, and, in the last move, Forestieri found Arslan, at the entrance to the area. The German hit to the goal and tied the electrifying clash. After the goal, Arslan celebrated in front of Lazio’s bench, which resulted in confusion, earning a red card for the Brazilian Wallace, from Udinese.

With the tie, Lazio takes the ninth place in the tournament, with 22 points. Udinese remains in 14th place with 16 points.

Also this Thursday, Torino received the Empoli at the Olympic Stadium in Turin. After a strong start, the home team opened 2-0, with goals from Pobega and Pjaca, but had a player sent off and saw the visitors increase production and tie the match, with Romagnoli and La Mantia.
