The 2006 Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov posted a video with children at the airport on his Telegram channel.
“My candies are back from vacation! Now, finally, everyone is at home together. The family is assembled, ”wrote the 46-year-old athlete.
On July 6, Kostomarov was discharged from the hospital. According to the Telegram channel “112”, the figure skater was given temporary prostheses, but individual and modern ones have already been ordered.
Kostomarov was hospitalized on January 10 with pneumonia and influenza B. Due to the prolonged connection to a blood oxygenator and a ventilator, tissue began to die. Doctors amputated both feet of the figure skater, then the shins of both legs, the entire right hand and several fingers of the left.
