A Brazilian Team debuted on the right foot Women’s World Cup. This Monday, the team beat Panama by 4-0, in Group F, at the Hindmarsh Stadium, in Adelaide, Australia. Even after the rout, the defender of Brazil, Rafaelle, has already started to project the game against France, in the next round.
“I hope we can take this football against France. The opponent didn’t demand so much, they (Panamanians) didn’t pressure us too much. But in a debut we scored four goals, I believe we took that weight off with the rout”, said the Brazilian captain in a post-game interview with SportTV.
The defender added: “We’re going to be a little more confident against a great team, which is France, especially since they drew in the first game. So we know they’re going to come with everything, because they need the victory. It’s celebrating today and tomorrow starting to think about France”.
The attacking midfielder Kerolin, in turn, highlighted that the selection’s approach game will be very important for the clash against the French, also mentioning the need for a balance between defense and attack.
