Zenit bought Serbian defender Strahinja Erakovic from Red Star
Petersburg “Zenith” bought from “Crvena Zvezda” the defender of the Serbian national team Strahinja Erakovic. This was reported on the website of the blue-white-blue.
The contract with the Serbian was signed for four years with the possibility of extension for another season. Erakovic will play for the Russian club under the 25th number.
“Zenit is the owner of many titles in Russia, so for me this is a big jump in my career. I hope that I will achieve here the result that I want for myself,” Erakovic said.
The financial terms of Eraković’s transfer have not been disclosed. According to Transfermarkt, Zenit paid 8 million euros for him.
Eraković, 22, is a three-time Serbian champion with Red Star Belgrade. He has one goal in five matches for the national team of the country.
