O Manchester United won the Arsenal on Saturday night, 2-0, in a pre-season friendly played at MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey, in the United States. The winning goals were scored by Bruno Fernandes and Sancho.
The Red Devils started the match Sancho, Antony and the Argentinean Garnacho in charge of the attack. Midfielder Mason Mount, hired for this season, played his third game with the team’s shirt. The team is still 100% in this pre-season, with three wins in three matches.
On the other hand, Mikel Arteta promoted the debut of midfielder Declan Rice as Arsenal’s starter. Midfielder Havertz also played in the midfield, alongside Odegaard. The Gunners came from a rout in a festive match against Major League Soccer stars, MLS, 5-0.
Arsenal will have another test next Wednesday, this time against Barcelona. The friendly will start at 23:30 (Brasília time), at SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles.
United also play this weekend, on Tuesday, against Wrexham, a team from the English fourth division. The ball rolls from 23:30 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.
