The ‘Lion of Barrika’ is going from less to more with his game at the Royal Liverpool Club, venue for the 151st edition of the British Open, one of the four ‘majors’.
Paired with the South Korean Sungjae Im for the third day, Jon Rahm jumped very focused on the pitch of the British club. The first four holes were made par, but in the fifth he made a birdie that made him gain confidence.
The next three holes were made again at par and from the ninth he brought out his best repertoire to, at the key moment, make four birdies with an aggressive, accurate and very precise game.
Holes thirteen and fourteen resolved with official and, for the last four, he reserved other magical shots to achieve three more birdies and conclude with eight under par and a cumulative minus six.
