The selection of Japan thrashed and swept in its debut in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand with goals from Hinata Miyazawa (doublet), Mina Tanaka, junendo and Riko Ueki to the debutante Zambiawho was not able to find the speed of their forwards to create danger.
The punishment could have been higher in a match with a staggering level difference. Two annulled goals for Tanaka, who was able to sign a hattrick; a penalty awarded and corrected by VAR; 22 shots and nine on goal for Japan by none of a Zambia who only dominated the aspects negative statistics: fouls, yellow cards, goal kicks, saves, clearances and lost balls.
