Feyenoord said that the transfer of Arsen Zakharyan in the summer is possible for an “acceptable” price
The Dutch football club Feyenoord expressed their interest in the Dynamo midfielder and the Russian national team Arsen Zakharyan. It is reported by Sport24.
The team confirmed the information that they are engaged in attracting Zakharyan and a number of other players. “The arrival of the Russian and other players this summer is possible, but Feyenoord wants to pay an acceptable and competitive price for the players, nothing more,” the club added.
In June, Zakharyan was included in the list of 100 nominees for the annual Golden Boy Award, which is awarded to the best young (under 21) footballer of the year in Europe. In the season that ended, he made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing ten assists.
On August 26, 2022, information appeared that Zakharyan was close to moving to the English Premier League club Chelsea. However, on September 1, Dynamo reported that the transfer did not take place due to technical problems. Details of what happened were not disclosed.
