The head coach of SKA St. Petersburg Roman Rotenberg extended the agreement with the team for five years. This was reported on the official website of the St. Petersburg club.

“I consider such a credit of trust in me as a solid foundation on which we will build a powerful, modern team of winners,” Rotenberg said. It is noted that Dmitry Konstantinov received the post of general director of the club, which the specialist also previously held.

In the 2022/2023 season, SKA reached the final of the playoffs of the Western Conference of the Continental Hockey League. At this stage, the club lost to CSKA 2-4 in the series.

Rotenberg took over as head of SKA in January 2022. The specialist also holds the positions of deputy chairman of the board of directors and vice president in the club. He is the eldest son of the famous Russian billionaire Boris Rotenberg.
