With assistance, Angelo debuts for Chelsea in a thrashing of Wrexham in a pre-season friendly

This Wednesday, striker Ângelo, formerSantospremiered at Chelsea. The player entered the second half of the Blues’ victory over Wrexham, by 5-0, in a friendly valid for the FC Series, former Florida Cup. The goals of the game, which took place at Kenan Memorial Stadium, in the United States, were scored by Ian Maatsen (twice), Conor Gallagher, Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chilwell.

Another to debut with the blue shirt of the English club that night was midfielder Andrey Santos, formerVasco. The midfielder was the starter in the match and left the field in the 19th minute of the second half.

Chelsea’s goals and Angelo’s assist

The Blues’ first goal of the match came just three minutes into the game, after Maatsen received an assist from Jackson. Even before the end of the initial stage, at 42, the Dutch athlete took advantage of a pass from Chukwuemeka and scored the 2-0.

Already at 35 minutes of the second half, Sterling made an individual move and rolled for Gallagher to send to the back of the net. At 45 minutes, Casadei made a beautiful pass to Nkunku, who dribbled past the goalkeeper and turned the English victory into a rout, making it 4-0.

Finally, Ângelo left it for the final moments of the game. In the 48th minute, after scoring with Nkunku, the 18-year-old gave Chilwell a beautiful assist to give the final numbers to the match and make it 5 to 0. Earlier, around the 25th minute, Menino da Vila found Sterling in the area in a cross, but the English striker sent it out.
