Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has signed a contract with the professional football club Polissya. This was reported on the team’s website.
The agreement with the 36-year-old athlete was signed for one season. In the team from Zhytomyr, which returned to the Ukrainian Premier League at the end of the 2022/2023 season, he will play at number 17.
For the first time, Usyk took part in the match as part of Polissya on February 4, 2022. He came on as a substitute in the 77th minute in a meeting with Veres in the Winter Cup friendly tournament.
