Hockey player Fedotov, who returned from the army, noted that the discipline in the Navy and in CSKA is similar
Hockey goalie Ivan Fedotov, who returned from the army, compared the discipline in the Navy and in CSKA. His words are quoted by KP Sport.
The athlete noted that the discipline in these places is similar. “If you treat your duties with understanding, with responsibility, everything is fine with you, they don’t touch you. You are free to do this within the framework of what you are allowed, ”the hockey player explained.
Fedotov signed a contract with CSKA on July 1. National Hockey League (NHL) Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said the league was unhappy with the decision, as it violates the goalkeeper’s current agreement with the Philadelphia Flyers.
In May 2022, Fedotov signed a one-year contract with Philadelphia. However, in July of the same year, the hockey player was detained in St. Petersburg on suspicion of evading military service. After that, the player was sent to serve in the Russian Navy, and his contract with the American team was automatically extended for a year.
