Wrestler Kintsurashvili spoke about the correct push-up technique for gaining muscle mass

Master of sports in Greco-Roman wrestling Denis Kintsurashvili spoke about the correct push-up technique. His words are quoted by Sport-Express.

“Feet shoulder-width apart, the pelvis does not sag and is not lifted up. We hold the bar, the body is tense. We direct the elbows at about 45 degrees relative to the body and from this position we begin to bend and unbend the arms with maximum amplitude, ”Kintsurashvili said, explaining that this is a classic version of push-ups. He added that at the bottom point there should be a feeling of slight stretching of the pectoral muscles.

The expert also broke down the push-up technique for gaining muscle mass more effectively by increasing the time under tension. To do this, each time after doing push-ups, linger at the top point for five seconds. In total, according to the athlete, it is enough to do 12-15 repetitions. Another effective exercise is similar push-ups with a delay of five seconds at the bottom. In this case, it is important to keep the body even and not touch the floor with the chest.

Earlier, fitness expert Georgy Elgin revealed the dangers of training on an empty stomach. “The biggest risk of training on an empty stomach is the possibility of worsening your well-being. Hunger-sensitive people may experience a drop in blood sugar or dizziness and nausea,” he said.
