Even with Harry Kane in the starting lineup, Tottenham were outclassed in the first half and took the rivals 2-0 in the opening 25 minutes. This was coach Ange Postecoglou’s debut on the sidelines with the team.
Already on the way back from the break, the commander decided to change the whole team and put the reserves, including the Brazilians Emerson Royal and Richarlison. On the other side, defender Luizão, formerly of São Paulo, even got a chance at the end of the duel.
