This Thursday the finalist teams of the 2021 Polo Clausura Tournament will be announced, a contest organized by the Polo Lacosta club and which in this edition has had four participants, among them, Emelec. Before the third and last day of the regular round, Monokrispy already secured a ticket in the definition, while Los Obreros aim to stay with the second.
The games schedule began on November 26, when Los Obreros and La Portada Polo Team equalized at 6, which led to the distribution of one point for each team. On the same day, but on the 27th, Monokrispy beat Emelec 6-5; the victory meant three points to the winner, while the defeated did not receive any unity.
The second date, November 28, resulted in a new tie for Los Obreros, this time with Emelec and 5-5. The same day later Monokrispy secured itself in the title dispute by beating La Portada 5-3.
On the third day, Los Obreros will meet on December 2 with Monokrispy. In the same programming appears La Portada vs. Emelec.
The final of the tournament, which takes place at the Lacosta Country Club (via a la costa), will be on December 4. That day is also scheduled the dispute for the third and fourth places.
This is the third sporting event organized by the Polo Lacosta club this season. The first event was the Apertura Tournament, held in July, in which three teams participated and whose champion was the Blanco team. The second event was the Heineken Guayas Polo Cup, in which five teams participated representing Polo Lacosta and Guayaquil Polo Club. The winner was the yellow team. (D)
