Midfielder Arthur, formerly of Grêmio, would be close to reinforcing Fiorentina on loan

Midfielder Arthur, formerGuildwould be close to being Fiorentina’s new reinforcement, according to the journalist Fabricius Roman. The Italian club would be close to closing a deal with Juventus for the player’s loan until June 2024, with the Turin team paying part of the athlete’s salary.

Despite the midfielder having aroused the interest of several teams in England and Italy, Fiorentina is the one that is closest to a deal. The loan would also include a purchase option of around 20 million euros (R$ 108 million at current quotations). Thus, Arthur must return to Italian football.

The midfielder was not in Juventus’s plans for the 2023/24 season and, as a result, both club and player were looking for a way out.

Arthur left Grêmio in 2018 after being hired by Barcelona. Although he participated in some team matches, he did not succeed and left the Spanish club in 2020, heading to Juventus in an exchange that took Pjanic to Barça.

At the Italian club, he also did not have great performances and, two years later, in September, he was loaned to Liverpool, where it had even less space. The player said goodbye to the Reds at the end of the season with just 13 minutes played. Now, the midfielder can return to Italian football.
