In the final phase of recovery, Neymar returns to training with the ball at PSG

In the final phase of recovering from the injury, Neymar returned to training with the ball at the CT of Paris Saint Germain this Friday. In images released by the French club, the striker appears doing individual work on the pitch.

The 31-year-old Brazilian star has not played for five months after suffering an ankle injury. The athlete underwent surgery in Qatar in March and had been doing regenerative training and physiotherapy while recovering.

Despite being better and already able to run and train with the ball, PSG is cautious with its player. The French club will have a series of friendlies in late July and early August and is considering keeping Neymar for the period of inactivity. The decision will be up to coach Luis Enrique and the medical department.

On July 21, PSG will face Le Havre, at CT de Poissy, in the first pre-season friendly match. Then, he will tour Japan with three matches on his agenda: first, he will face Al Nassr, team from Cristiano Ronaldo from Saudi Arabia, on the 25th, then they face Cerezo Osaka, a local club, on the 28th. Finally, they play against Inter Milanon the 1st of August.

In the midst of his recovery, Neymar continues with an indefinite future in Paris. With a contract until June 2025, the Brazilian star is wanted by European and Arab clubs, but has not yet defined the next steps in his career. The focus, at the moment, is on the final stretch of recovery.
