16-year-old Russian tennis player advanced to the fourth round of Wimbledon

16-year-old tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated Potapova and reached the fourth round of Wimbledon

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva reached the fourth round of Wimbledon, held in London. The results are available on the tournament website.

In the third round, the 16-year-old athlete, ranked 102nd in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) ranking, met with compatriot Anastasia Potapova. The match ended with Andreeva’s victory with a score of 6:2, 7:5. For reaching the 1/4 finals of Wimbledon, the Russian woman will play with the American Madison Keys.

In May, Andreeva reached the third round of her debut Roland Garros. Then the Russian woman played for the first time in the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament.
