The match ended Portugal’s preparation for the Women’s World Cup. It will be the first time that the team will compete in the tournament. The Portuguese are part of Group E, alongside USAVietnam and Netherlandsagainst whom they will make their debut, on the 23rd.

The first goal of the match came in the 18th minute of the first half. Jéssica Silva was attentive and took advantage of the Ukrainian defense’s blunder to steal the ball inside the opponent’s area.
