Stage 8 of the 2023 Tour de Francewhich is disputed Saturday July 8it will be a medium mountain stage, which will start from Libourne and it will end in Limoges. With 200.7 kilometers of the route, the stage will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will end around 5:07 p.m.
Much of the race will take place on a flat course, with few ups and downs where the field is expected to stay together. From km 30 the obstacles will begin, with the port of Champs-Romain (3rd category, at 5.2%). In addition, two more 4th category climbs will await the runners a few kilometers from the finish line, that of Masmont and Condart-sur-Vienneboth with just over 5% unevenness.
It will be a stage in which the sprinters can once again be protagonists, and at the finish line it will be the most explosive of them who manage to stand out, since the last part is short, but hard.
