Sport-Express: Jesus Medina will move from CSKA to Spartak
Paraguayan midfielder of CSKA Jesús Medina should soon sign a contract with Spartak. Sport-Express became aware of the upcoming transition.
According to the source, the red-whites will pay the red-blues about 7.5 million euros. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the value of the 26-year-old Paraguayan at seven million.
Medina joined CSKA Moscow in January 2022 from New York City. He played 45 matches for the army team in all competitions, in which he scored 12 goals and made nine assists. The player’s contract with CSKA expires in June 2025.
On July 6, it became known that CSKA defender Mario Fernandez agreed with Zenit on a two-year contract. It was reported that in the new team the player would receive 2.5 million euros per season, while CSKA was ready to offer only 1.5 million.
