Tyson Fury says boxing fight against Francis Ngannou has potential

British boxer Tyson Fury spoke about the chances of a fight against former UFC champion Frenchman Francis Ngannou. His words are quoted by the YouTube channel Out of Interest Podcast.

“There is potential for such a fight, and we have received many proposals from the Middle East regarding its organization this summer,” Fury said. He stressed that the Frenchman wants to fight according to the rules of boxing.

On January 31, Fury said that he wants to fight Ngannou if he does not get a fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. “It’s risky because Francis was at one point considered the strongest puncher in martial arts. With these gloves, the only thing required is one hit and it’s over,” the Briton shared.

Ngannou has 17 wins and 3 losses in his career. He held the UFC heavyweight championship belt.

Fury has 33 wins, 1 draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.
