Stage 6 of the 2023 Tour de Francewhich is disputed thursday july 6will come out of tarbes and it will end with the promotion to Cauterets Cambasque. With 144.9 kilometers of the route, the stage will begin at 1:10 p.m. and will end around 5:08 p.m.
The runners will continue riding through the mountainous area of the Pyrenees, but it will be somewhat shorter in terms of mileage. Even so, there will be no shortage of mountain passes of great difficulty.
The first hilltop finish of the Grande Boucle comes in Cauterets-Cambasque (1st category, 5.4%). Previously, the iconic chain of the Col d’Aspin (1st category, at 6.5%) and Col du Tourmalet (special category, at 7.3%) that will be crowned less than 50 km from the finish line. The port of Capvern les Blains (3rd category, at 4.8%) will mark the beginning of the ascent.
