PSG have appointed Luis Enrique as their new head coach
Paris Saint-Germain Football Club has announced the appointment of a new head coach. This is stated in the message on the website of the team.
PSG will be led by 53-year-old Spanish specialist Luis Enrique. His agreement with the club runs until 2025.
Enrique replaced 56-year-old Frenchman Christophe Galtier as head coach. The contract with the specialist was terminated ahead of schedule. According to Le Parisien, Galtier will receive six million euros in compensation.
In January 2023, Enrique left the Spanish national team after the team was eliminated from the World Cup at the 1/8 final stage. The Spaniards lost to Morocco in a penalty shootout. The coach is known for his work at Barcelona. In three years, together with the club, he won the Champions League, the Super Cup of the Union of European Football Associations and twice won the title of champion of Spain.
