Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk signed a contract to fight Briton Tyson Fury

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has signed a contract to fight British Tyson Fury. This was announced by Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas in Twitter.

“I just want the whole world to know that everything is signed and certified by Usyk’s team,” Klimas said and noted that everyone wants this fight to take place.

Earlier it became known about Fury’s refusal to fight Usyk at a tournament in Saudi Arabia in December 2023. “Negotiations are ongoing, but fairly reliable sources say that there will be no duel with Usyk this year,” journalist Michael Benson said, referring to the words of businessman Simon Jordan.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses in his career. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Organization (IBO), IBF and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
